The Independent Physiotherapy Service has a number of established private physiotherapy clinics throughout Wales and Scotland.
All of the physiotherapists working within our clinics are experienced chartered physiotherapists. They are all members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professions Council. In order to be members of these governing bodies our physiotherapists have achieved at least a 3 year degree in physiotherapy, but many have gone on to study for 2 more years to achieve a Masters degree in physiotherapy. Many of our physiotherapists work closely with elite athletes and professional sports teams.
All of our physiotherapists are experienced in the treatment of a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, occupational injuries, whiplash, repetitive strain, post-operative, sciatica etc.
A variety of treatments are used by the physiotherapists, including ultrasound, interferential therapy, acupuncture, joint manipulation/mobilisation, massage, traction, ergonomic advice and individually tailored exercise programmes.
