Location: iPS Clinics in Carmarthen
Working Hours: Part-time or Full-time
Contract: Employed or Self-Employed options available
Salary/Hourly Rate: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
About the Role
Independent Physiotherapy Services (iPS) operates a Specialist Rehabilitation Centre at Parc Dewi Sant in Carmarthen. We are seeking an experienced Neurological Physiotherapist to join our growing service. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a multi-disciplinary team, supporting clients with complex needs.
We welcome applications for full or part-time positions, with the opportunity to expand to full-time as the service develops.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated physiotherapist with strong neurological rehabilitation skills, who can assess, plan, and deliver tailored treatments with clinical confidence.
Essential Requirements:
- HCPC registration
- A recognised physiotherapy degree or diploma
- A minimum of 3 years' specialist experience in neurological physiotherapy
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Clear, effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues
- Competency in managing complex neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury, stroke, MS, Parkinson’s disease, and other progressive neurological conditions
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for domiciliary visits
Desirable:
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. ACPIN)
- Experience with spasticity management, community rehabilitation, or functional electrical stimulation (FES)
- Evidence of involvement in audit, quality improvement, or research
