Diagnostic Ultrasound Scans

MSK Diagnostic Ultrasound Scanning is used by our MSK Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, Gareth Tremain, to complement his detailed musculoskeletal clinical assessment. Gareth is a qualified sonographer having completed a ‘Post-Graduate Certificate in MSK Diagnostic Ultrasound Scanning’. Ultrasound allows Gareth to visualise joints and soft tissues in real-time, which provides valuable information to support diagnosis and guide treatment.

Ultrasound Guided Injections

Ultrasound-guided injections are a precise and effective treatment used to deliver medication directly to the source of pain or inflammation. By using ultrasound imaging, our clinical specialist can guide the injection to the exact location, ensuring the medication is delivered accurately and with minimal discomfort. This technique is often used for treating conditions such as joint pain, tendonitis, bursitis, and arthritis, providing relief from chronic pain and inflammation.
