Millie has a wide range of experience working with musculoskeletal and pelvic health conditions. Her passion is in guiding people back to their previous levels of function.
Millie is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a special interest in Women's Health Physiotherapy. She is experienced in treating a variety of conditions including low back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse symptoms, pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain and post-natal rehabilitation. Millie is a licensed Mummy MOT practitioner.
Millie qualified from the University of the West of England with a degree in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2011. She spent three years working as an Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor with the military, helping soldiers in the British Army return to fitness in preparation for deployment.
Her love for rehabilitation led her to return to study Physiotherapy at the University of Southampton, completing her junior rotations in Southampton and South Wales before specialising as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in 2018. Since 2019, she has been a part-time member of the Women's Health Physiotherapy team for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and has since joined the iPS team to contribute to both our Musculoskeletal and Women’s Health services.
Millie has experience in treating a variety of presentations, but she particularly enjoys working with ladies who present with a variety of Women's Health presentations. Helping people work towards their goals is something that she does with both empathy and enthusiasm. Her background in sports rehabilitation means that she particularly enjoys helping people return to sporting activity or build up their activity levels after pregnancy.
Millie has completed the Mummy MOT practitioner training and offers Mummy MOT assessments and treatment based on the findings of the thorough assessment.
Millie spends her spare time enjoying and exploring the South Wales countryside with her husband and dogs and likes to keep fit with running and attending her local gym.
