Morgan is a very experienced Neurological Rehabilitation Assistant. Prior to joining iPS in 2021, he spent the previous 7 years specialising in the rehabilitation of individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries. Morgan has a comprehensive knowledge of neurological rehabilitation and exceptional handling skills. He is able to carry out complex rehabilitation programmes set out by our Specialist Neurological Physiotherapists.
Morgan joined iPS because he wanted to have a more varied caseload and expand his knowledge and skills in other areas of physiotherapy rehabilitation. Morgan has acquired an extensive range of competencies through completion of the iPS in-house Physiotherapy Assistant Training Programme, which is taught by our most experienced MSK and Neurological Physiotherapists. He now confidently assists with the rehabilitation of patients with a range of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, as well as his bread and butter neurological rehab work.
Morgan has the skill and experience to work with patients in the setting that is most conducive to their rehabilitation. He is equally comfortable undertaking domiciliary rehabilitation in the patients home (including care homes, nursing homes) as he is in our specialist rehabilitation centres, gyms and hydrotherapy pools. Through his comprehensive training at iPS he can utilise our highly specialist rehab equipment (including FES bike, LiteGait, Saebo Equipment, Active / Passive bike, NuStep etc) as well as the hydrotherapy pool.
Prior to becoming a specialist rehabilitation Assistant Morgan worked as a care assistant for many years.
Morgan has an extremely caring and professional manner. He is highly regarded by his patients and families, as it is clear he will go the extra mile to ensure each individual gets the best care and rehabilitation possible.
Morgan enjoys a range of sports and has competed as a rugby player and in Judo competitions. He was a semi-professional darts player, travelling around the UK to competing for the county and national team. Currently he enjoys keeping fit in the gym and hill walking with his dog. He is very sociable and enjoys spending quality time with his friends.
