Throughout his career, Grant has worked as a physiotherapist in Neurosurgical Intensive Care Units, Acute Stroke Units, Stroke Rehabilitation Units, through to Rehabilitation Wards and Neuro Outpatient departments in the NHS. He has expert understanding of the processes and journeys patients' endure when suffering from a devastating neurological injury. Grant qualified as a physiotherapist in 2005, and has a great deal of experience working in both Neurological and Musculoskeletal clinical fields of physiotherapy. He combines his extensive knowledge and up to date clinical skills to create an exciting 'hands on' approach to treatment sessions.
With a specialist interest in rehabilitation after traumatic and hypoxic brain injury, Grant has the skills and expertise needed in the treatment of all neurological conditions including, Stroke, MS, Parkinson's Disease and Spinal Cord Injury.
Always keen to use the newest and most innovative therapies, Grant can often be seen in our specialist gym facilities, adapting and evolving his treatment methods to get his patients to perform to the best of their abilities. He is very experienced in gait and balance rehabilitation, using bespoke training methods to deliver fun, informative, and optimal treatment sessions to his patients.
A recent successful patient journey involved Grant rehabilitating a patient with significant upper limb impairment following a stroke, back to cycling and playing badminton over the course of 6 months, with his intensive upper limb program.
Grant skilfully guides all patients through the rehabilitation journey with compassion, empathy, and confidence.
Grant is an ex international swimmer and keen surfer. He also DJs for Boutique Disco in his spare time and has DJ'd alongside major artists including Craig David, McFly, Boney M and Clean Bandit.
