Kim is a Chronic Pain Specialist, Physiotherapist and Acupuncturist. We are extremely pleased to have Kim as part of our team. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in treatment of a wide variety of chronic pain conditions, including neck pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, lower back, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia as well as many other conditions including hayfever, IBS and migraine.
Kim qualified with a degree in Physiotherapy and has achieved a post graduate Masters Degree in Acupuncture. She has worked as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist and Acupuncturist treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions in her 30 year career within the NHS and Private Practice. Kim developed a passion for acupuncture and incorporates it into her physiotherapy practice where appropriate. She is highly regarded by her physiotherapy colleagues, pain consultants and patients.
Kim has served on the national board for the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (1999-2008). Kim has also trained as an Expert Witness in Physiotherapy and Acupuncture (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy 2003) where she strives to support excellent standards of practice within her profession.
Her role in Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation at The Independent Physiotherapy Service involves her managing patient caseloads in clinics in South Wales.
