Lenka is one of our most experienced Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapists, bringing a wealth of expertise from her years working in the NHS before joining IPS in 2009. Her NHS roles spanned trauma and orthopaedic wards, MSK out-patient clinics, and specialist consultant-led orthopaedic services.
Since joining IPS, Lenka has continued to build on this foundation, treating a wide variety of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries, including sports-related conditions. She has specialist expertise in the assessment and treatment of patients with life-changing injuries, and has worked extensively with individuals recovering from traumatic amputations, polytrauma, and complex orthopaedic injuries.
Lenka combines excellent manual therapy techniques with advanced skills such as acupuncture, and she is also a fully trained APPI Pilates instructor, currently offering face-to-face and one-to-one sessions. Her practice extends into hydrotherapy, where she helps patients progress rehabilitation in a supportive aquatic environment. Lenka is widely respected within the team and by her patients for her professionalism, empathy, and her ability to support people through their rehabilitation journey.
Outside of work, Lenka is a keen runner and loves spending time horse riding with her daughters. She enjoys the balance of staying active and sharing these passions with her family.
