Physiotherapist Profile

Lenka is one of our most experienced Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapists. She has extensive knowledge and skills across a range of areas. She worked in the NHS in various senior roles, before joining the IPS in 2009. Her experience in the NHS included working on trauma and orthopaedic wards, MSK out-patients and working alongside orthopaedic consultants in specialist clinics.

Professional Profile:

Lenka has continued to treat a wide range of MSK conditions and sports injuries since joining IPS. She has also gained specialist qualifications and experience, including working as a primary care physiotherapy practitioner in GP surgeries and a specialist Occupational health physiotherapist. She is currently the team lead in both areas. Lenka has excellent hands-on treatment skills and she also utilises advanced skills such as acupuncture. Lenka has completed recognised Pilates instructor training with the APPI, and has experience in running Pilates classes online as well as face to face and one to one instruction, taking patients through from early rehabilitation to more progressive strength and flexibility training.

Lenka specialises in treating patients that have suffered life changing injuries, working in clinic and gym settings to facilitate a return to normal function and activity. Lenka also undertakes aquatic therapy sessions within our specialist hydrotherapy service.

Lenka is a highly respected and liked member of our physiotherapy team. She is very professional and has an extremely warm and empathetic way with patients.

Lenka is married with 3 children. She enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as jogging and horseriding.
