The Independent Physiotherapy Service (iPS) offers a range of specialist physio treatments for AC Joint Pain with experienced physiotherapists.
Pain can also come on gradually due to wear and tear or arthritis. Pain from an injury can linger for a long time and cause ongoing limitation in function. The pain from wear and tear / arthritis can also be very debilitating. If the pain does not settle with rest, anti-inflammatory medication and standard physiotherapy techniques, a cortisone injection is the most appropriate option.
A cortisone injection is likely to provide immediate and significant relief AC joint pain.
Information: You will be required to pay the cost the consultation at time of booking. If you proceed with an injection, you will be required to pay the injection cost immediately following the appointment. There is a discount if you have 2 or more Injections in the same consultation.
